Commissions
Each commissioned work begins with a conversation.
It might be a place, a memory, or something less defined — a feeling that stays with you. Rather than working to a fixed image, I respond to this starting point through an intuitive process of layering, reworking, and allowing the piece to unfold over time.
Each work develops slowly. Marks are built, removed, and returned to, until something resolves — not as a direct representation, but as a reflection of what was held at the beginning.
If you’re drawn to my work and would like to explore a commission, you’re invited to get in touch.
From there, we can begin a conversation around scale, timing, and what you’re hoping the piece might hold.
Commissions are limited and considered carefully. I’ll be in touch within a few days to continue the conversation.
Eye Portraits
Alongside my broader practice, I offer eye-based commissions drawn from The Eyes of the Women in My Life.
Working from a photograph, each piece is rendered in graphite pencil on 300GSM Cold Pressed Fine Art Paper. The drawings remain recognisable, while focusing closely on the eye as a point of presence.
These works often connect to people close to you — or to yourself.

The Eyes of the Women in My Life
Eyes hold stories words cannot always tell. In this ongoing series, Emma Fält captures the women who have shaped, inspired, and walked alongside her — their strength, vulnerability, and resilience reflected in a single gaze.
Each artwork in the Eyes of the Women in My Life is a study of intimacy and connection, offering viewers a chance to see beyond the surface into memory, identity, and shared humanity.
